FARMING on the farm

The Louisiana State Penitentiary Museum at Angola is proud to present the Farming on the Farm exhibit which will be at the Bienville parish library in Arcadia from November 1 through November 30th. A former plantation and still a working farm staffed by inmates, Angola consists of 18,000 acres of the finest farm land in the South. Housing approximately 5,000 men, “The Farm” has traditionally supplied all of the vegetables that the prisoners on Angola eat.
